Fall into Autumn with Pom Pom - 2023 Events
We invite you to join us at the Knitting and Stitching Show in London on 5 & 6 October from 9:30am to 5:30pm. ✨
We are happy to be hosting the Pom Pom Knitting Lounge where you can chat with our friendly team, try out yarns from the wonderful Hobbii, or simply take a break from the excitement.
Additionally, we will be hosting the fashion show (Friday), featuring some amazing creators who will show off their wonderful Pom Pom makes and some of the highly anticipated designs from our forthcoming Winter Issue!
If you’re a new knitter then we can help you warm up for your first project with some squishy garter stitch coasters (or blanket squares, or a future scarf, or...) from our beginner book Knit How. We can even help you plan your next colourwork project with our schematic illustrations!
🧶🧶🧶If you haven’t joined our year-long make-along before, now is the time because we’re giving away 3 pairs of tickets to the show! Don't miss your chance to be part of this crafting adventure. Post your project to our dedicated MAL thread here OR post your Pom Pom project to your Instagram using the hashtag #PomMal2023.
Any project from Pom Pom’s publications or free patterns can be entered! This includes both knit and crochet projects, recipes from our magazines, or even projects using Pom tutorials.
And… if you don’t finish in time then WIPs are always welcome around here! This is all about community and a fun way for us to make together!

Calling all yarny enthusiasts! 🐑✨The New York Sheep and Wool Festival at Rhinebeck will be 21 & 22 October and we’ve got some fun stuff lined up for you including shopping some fibre goodness from our autumn guest editor, The Farmer's Daughter Fibers and our latest winter edition of Pom Pom Quarterly that hasn’t even hit shelves yet! This year’s trunk show will include pieces from issues 46 & 47 for you to try on and squish!
Stop by the booth for two exclusive Pom signings!
On Saturday 21 October, we will welcome Dana Williams-Johnson, our issue 47 article contributor and on Sunday 22 October, we will be hosting a signing of Issue 46 with Candice English!
So come for the fibre, and stay for the fun this year at the Sheep and Wool Festival with Pom Pom hosted in building B with the Merritt Bookstore!
Pom Pom is proud to sponsor the Meet Up Courtyard at Sacred Sheep! In addition to other meetups, you can get to know Britt of KnotBadBritt in a relaxed setting! Learn about her journey in the craft industry and how that took her from working in the tech industry to being a fibre artist. Hear about how her search for identity led to the creation of The Makers of Color Collective and her commitment to helping others find themselves through craft. And of course, explore her designs!

Our Autumn guest editor Candice English will have a wide selection of her own The Farmer's Daughter Fibers yarns and other offerings you can shop while you check out the Autumn issue 46 trunk show. All the samples will be made in various Farmer's Daughter Fibers bases so this will be a great chance to mix and match or get yarn advice from the guest editor herself!
