And here as always are the show notes - enjoy!

Tell + Tell

Sophie finished her Netherton from PPQ1! We are very pleased, it looks great, we are sure you'll agree. Sophie is also planning to make Libette, our first ever sewing pattern, in the awesome Kaffe Fasset fabric shown in the background, we can't wait to see it. You can check out Lydia's Quadrillion in the photo with Rachel Coopey at the bottom of the post.

TNNA

We had a lovely time at TNNA...

Here's Lydia with Verity and Rachel at the Baa Ram Ewe stand.

Olga and Meri from Amirisu,  having a quick snack. Knitting's a tiring business!

And more colourful moments from the trip:

We even met a giant felted dinosaur! Made by the lovely folks behind Woolbuddy.

Here we are with the gals from Kelbourne Woolens.

And here is the stunning yarn Lydia brought home from Fiber Story. "Fave" Sock Yarn in the colour Aegean Sea.

Review

We took a look at the awesome CoopKnits Toasty: Volume 1 by Rachel Coopey, which is full of lovely cabley and colourwork knits to keep your fingers busy and your extremities warm!

Bedale by Rachel Coopey

We're pretty smitten. All the designs are knit in Baa Ram Ewe's Titus yarn, which is a blend of Wensleydale and Blue faced Leicester wool with UK Alpaca. Gorgeous. And it's spun in Yorkshire!

There were so many great patterns, but we were particularly enamoured with Ripon and Bedale (above) and the Carthorpe mitts (below).

In other exciting news, Toasty has cured Lydia's startitis! Here is Bedale knit in Isager Highland wool (left over from her Hap Shawl), well on its way to being a toasty hat in plenty of time for winter.

Interview

Sophie and Lydia with Rachel Coopey at Pom Pom HQ - giggles all round!

We talked about everything from teaching to spirit animals (!). Rachel told us that her Desert Island Yarn would be Socks that Rock Lightweight.

Colour of the Cast... is Yellow! Check out our fave yellows.

R: We all know how much Sophie loves Malabrigo's cadmium, here is her Firewood Shawl, looking pretty darned good! L: Lydia's Vertitwist hat in candlewick.

Of course the Simpsons are also yellow. Ever wondered why?

Top 3... sandwiches. Listen to find out what we chose. There are definitely fish fingers involved!

And that, podcast friends is Pomcast Episode 3, sponsored by the delightful Baa Ram Ewe.

p.s. Just make things! Love from Lydia
