NEWS

We had a brilliantly autumnal time at Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool festival, thank you to everyone who came to say hi. We had so many fun signings, and we even got to try the famed apple cider donuts! Safe to say we'll be back next year. Here's Lydia with Kiyomi and Sachiko and Linda Dubec, three of our Winter 2016 designers.

And of course we released our newest issue - Winter 2016 at Rhinebeck, and we are so happy with the reception it received. Don't forget to check out the previews if you haven't already... we think they are pretty lovely, even if we do say so ourselves!

Sophie is dreaming of Ma'am, a fantastic moss stitch coat by Linda Dubec, while Lydia is swatching for Cesium by Sachiko Burgin.

Ma'am from Issue 19

Cesium from Issue 19

If you couldn't catch us at Rhinebeck, fear not! We will be in Oslo, at Oslostrikkefestival on 4th & 5th November and at Yarnporium in London on 5th & 6th. If you are in either of those places swing by to say hello and pick up a copy of the latest issue! We will have samples to squish and our other books and back issues as always.

TELL + TELL

Lydia finished her Rocquaine, and is very pleased. It was the perfect Rhinebeck jumper, and she even got to wear it in the place it was dyed by the wonderful Emily Foden of Viola (we interviewed her for Pomcast 17) in Mooresburg, Ontario.

Sophie managed to knit the two Take Heart hats she had planned as a wedding present - and a lovely one at that!

HALLOWEEN HORROR STORIES

We asked you pomcats to send in your knitting horror stories, and boy did you deliver. You can hear a select three read by our guest voice actor, one Eli Block, for your listening pleasure. And fear not, although there isn't a top 3 in this episode, you can expect a mini episode to pop in your feed in the next month or so... don't worry, we won't leave you in the Lurch!

And that's the lot! We hope you enjoyed listening, and don't forget to come and say hi on the Ravelry group, and email us any stories or suggestions to podcast[at]pompommag.com
