Episode 69 - Ask us anything!
Hi Pomcats, can you believe it’s the last episode of the year? Fret not, we’ve got a bumper episode for you to enjoy and this one is thanks to all of you who sent in questions for us to answer – it’s the ‘Ask Us Anything’ episode!
Looking for a last minute gift? Pom Pom has a curated selection on their website with special subscriptions and digital options. With a subscription, your loved one (or you!) could be among the first crafters to receive the magazine every quarter. Each issue is lovingly hand-wrapped in beautiful paper and you could choose to start the subscription with the spring issue and make 2022 a whole year of Pom. Plus, any publication you order from Pom Pom includes digital access to the PDF. Or you could order a gift card that pings into the recipient's inbox instantly, allowing them to choose whatever they want!

We received so many fantastic questions, and we are just sorry we couldn’t include more! Thanks to everyone who got in touch, and who knows, perhaps we should make this a more regular episode feature? We’ll let you listen at your leisure to the secrets that we reveal in the episode, but we wanted to add to the show notes some of those special projects that were mentioned.
First up it’s Gayle’s ‘Rainbow Sherbet’ Delphinus from Issue 34, which uses some magical mohair by The Wandering Flock.
We also had Sofia’s Mafadi from Issue 31, this one is the project she enjoyed a mini friend KAL with! Here it's modelled by Noush, our UK Studio Manager.
Belinda Johnson, our Publishing and Marketing Director, answers the question 'How do you make Pom Pom?' As part of her answer, she mentions our open call for submissions. Anyone can receive notification when we put a new call out by signing up to the mailing list. We also shout about it on social media, too! Here's Belinda's cat, Jonesy, who likes to oversee the proofs Belinda receives from the printers!
We hope you enjoyed this episode and learnt a little bit more about the Pom Pom team and what goes on behind the scenes of the magazine! We’re taking a break in January so we’ll be back on 4th February for the first Pomcast of 2022. Happy Knitmas!
