This issue our contributors have designed their patterns using a postage stamp as inspiration. Where possible, each design uses a yarn which originates from the same country as said stamp and these ten patterns are certainly something to write home about. Each stamp has been re-imagined by Elena Skoreyko Wagner and her playful paper cut illustrations are dotted around the knits and throughout the issue.

Featuring designs by: Isabell Kraemer, Julia Farwell-Clay, Verena Cohrs, Jessie Roselyn, Ana Campos, Amy Christoffers, Kari-Helene Rane, Alice Caetano, Kelly Ordemann, and Kristin Blom.

You’ll also find Anna Maltz' musing on the connection between stamps and knitting style, Meghan Fernandes exploring how snail mail links our long-distance knitting relationships, and artist Grace Chin explains her process as a paper artist. We also have a tasty pie recipe by Rebecca Lawrence - a perfectly portable parcel of comfort food.

We hope that these designs have your stamp of approval, too!
