We can officially announce the start of planning those heady days relaxing outside with a dreamy WIP to match. Enter Issue 25, dedicated to a summer staple: stripes! Think beach huts, deckchairs and classic Breton tops, think cool cotton tees and breezy long linen tops.

We’ve got you covered with no fewer than eight tees to take you from sunny days to summer nights, two elegant shawls to waft around when days turn breezy, and the most pretty and practical knot bag to take your WIPs safely to the beach and back.

Anna Maltz explores the history and international use of this classic pattern, while Chris Watson-O’Neill reflects on how knitting became a method of recovery. We’ve also teamed up with The London Loom, who have used the magic of weaving to design a stripey patch to mend those clothes that need a little TLC. Finally, grab a long tall glass of your favourite something and pop in a stripey ice cube or two, thanks to our how-to by Rebecca Lawrence  - who knew something so cool could be so easy to make?

Featuring designs by: Lori Versaci, Amy Christoffers, Susanne Sommer, Anna Maltz, Gina Röckenwager, Julie Dubreux, Paula Pereira, Natalie Selles, Lia Moya, Tina Tse, and Lana Jois.
