A collection of patterns inspired by terrain awaits you. The designs are a nod to the tactile and three-dimensional nature of knitwear, but also explorations of the deeper meanings of maps, journeys, and boundaries. The designers, yarn producers, and writers come from, have moved to, and have cultural roots in many different parts of the world. We hope that the stories that are woven into their words and designs will ground you at this busy time of year.

Featuring designs by: FIONA ALICE // AINUR BERKIMBAYEVA // SARI NORDLUND // GERALDINE YANG // JUDITH BRAND // LOTTA H LÖTHGREN // NOMA NDLOVU // SARAH SOLOMON // CHRISTELLE BAGEA // CLAIRE WALLS

In addition to the knitting and crochet patterns, Issue 31 includes an article by Sophia Cai, a tutorial for a Window Earthscape Drapery by Yukako Stone and Hannah Katz of Loop of the Loom, and a recipe for Cherry Almond Rocky Road by Kat Goldin!

Digital Downloads

Your purchase of the print magazine also includes access to a digital copy, which will be emailed to you after checkout. You can also access a digital copy via Ravelry using the download code printed on the inside cover of the magazine.

Society of Native Nations

Pom Pom donates a proportion of the sales generated by Issue 31 to the Society of Native Nations, who advocate for Indigenous people and the land in Texas (where Pom Pom's US office is based).
