Episode 61 – Jacqueline Cieslak
Hello Pomcats! How are you? Spring feels like it’s just around the corner, so what better time to get out our microphones and have a chat about all things Pom Pom?!
TELL & TELL
It wouldn’t be Pomcast without talking about what we’ve been making! Sophie has finished several pairs of Snowshoe Socks and found the cables and detailed lace of Atlantica a delightfully absorbing knit. A Soirée jumper is currently on her needles, a Pom team favourite from Knits About Winter!
While Lydia has been spending her time sewing, making sure her bottom half is well covered by the All Well Studio Pants (trousers) and the Made My Wardrobe Josie underwear.
Are you working on a Pom Pom project too? Don’t forget we’re running a year-long KAL, find out more here!
Since we last recorded we’ve seen Issues 34 and 35 hit the shelves, and so we’re looking at our latest release, Issue 36, in this episode! On our ‘must-knit’ lists are Lucky Pieces (above), an exciting adventure in entrelac, and Lisse (below), the striped and floof-lined hooded jacket.
Of course we also had to mention Ready Set Raglan, the ultimate companion for building a sweater-filled wardrobe - we’re so proud of this project! Why not browse the many beautiful knits posted by our test knitters and other Ready Set Raglan lovers here.
What a joy it was to chat to the fantastically talented and funny Jacquline Cielack! We focused on her upcoming release Embody, which is available to pre-order now. Check our dedicated blog post to see all those beautiful patterns Jacqui talks about.
This episode we’re thinking about the advice we would have given ourselves when we’d started knitting or sewing. Some real rumination on the fundamentals of crafting!
